Crane Conservation Strategy: Range maps
The international Crane Conservation Strategy was released in October 2019, with comprehensive reviews of every crane species and issues for their conservation. For an outline of the Strategy and download links see Ozcranes Crane Conservation Strategy page.
Courtesy of the ICF and IUCN Species Survival Commission Crane Specialist Group, we post the range maps for Sarus Cranes in Asia and Australia, and the Brolga. Due to lack of data, the Brolga map does not include the part of the population in southeast Papua, Indonesia.
